For a broader explanation of The Boston Method, here’s a good place to start reading:

I’ve heard commercials that describe the Boston Method and have read the stuff on the website but I’m still a little unclear on why I should see someone like Boston rather than going to urologist.  Can someone provide some more information?

Hi Starbucknut- (great name)

My name is John and I’m a counselor with BMG.  I’ll be addressing questions and concerns on the forum from time to time.

To address your question specifically, Boston Medical Group is a single-focused physican network that is uniquely qualified to deal with the treatment of ED and PE.  Unlike many urologists, we are able to assess each patient’s condition, develop a treatment plan specifically for them, and provide constant moditoring and any modifications that might be necessary along the way.  Urologists can be a great source of treatment but many either A) focus primarily on surgery, or B) lack the ability or structure to provide constant care like our doctors.  This constant care, though, is exactly what BMG specializes in.  When it comes to finding treatment options, we work with our patients until we get them the results they’re looking for.

If you have any questions feel free to call one of our counselors at any time at 1-866-670-5815.

Hope I’ve been helpful.

-John

As a patient of Boston Medical Group and also a guy who has a pretty well liked urologist, I can directly relate to what John points out above.  The “constant care” part of Boston Medical Group is what really sold me.  Instead of taking my urologist’s word that my expectations were unreasonable, I went to Boston Medical Group to get a second opinion.  And I am honestly really glad that I did. Not only did I find that my expectations weren’t unreasonable, I was really pleasantly surprised by the results that I received!

Hey Southie,

Smoking is most definietly a contributing factor when it comes to ED. And you should be congratulated for making the decision to quit! It’s one of the best decisions you can make, not just for you general health and well-being, but also for your sexual health.

Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see improvement in your erectile function right away. Stay the course and DON’T go back to smoking. But in the meantime, book an appointment to come into your local Boston Medical Group clinic. Your Boston Medical Group physician can assess your condition and provide you with an effective treatment plan to help you start performing better NOW.
