I just read about an interesting viagra side effect:

“It turns out that PDE5 is used in the cone cells in the retina, so Viagra can have an effect on color vision.­ Many people who take Viagra notice a change in the way they perceive green and blue colors, or they see the world with a bluish tinge for several hours. For this reason, pilots can’t take Viagra within 12 hours of a flight.”

I tried Viagra for a while and never had any problems with it but my doctor told me about the blue-vision before he prescribed it.  What got me pretty hard was the flushing of the face.  When I took it it worked ok but my face would get really red and hot and it was pretty uncomfortable.  I’d be interested to hear what kind of experiences other people have had though.

When I tried it everything was blue and fuzzy.  Got headaches too.  Cialis wasn’t as bad but the results weren’t as good either.

Hi All-

This is something that’s certainly in the eye of the beholder.  It is a side-effect often mentioned when talking about Viagra and we’ve talked to many patients who have experienced it for themselves.  Sounds funny but should definitely be taken seriously, along with the other potential side effects.
