If i don’t have sex a lot does this make me more likely to premature ejaculate?  Just wondering

Less frequent sex shouldn’t necessarily make you more of a PE candidate, steveter, can you tell us a bit more?

Hi Steveter-

There is certianly something to be said for practice makes perfect (to an extent) when it comes to PE.  Having sex consistently can help you get used to the sensation of regular sex and allow you to control your ejaculation.  I’m not sure about your particular situation, but simply not having consistent sex consistently should not make you any more likely to have PE.  It’s a little more complicated then that smile

Feel free to provide more details, or give one of our counselors a call.

Thing is I’m just not that confident with the ladies and feel like I don’t have sex enough because I really don’t get the opportunity if you know what I mean. So I get scared I’ll have premature ejaculation when I finally do get with a girl because it will have been so long in between.

Its like premature ejaculation becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, but i guess its good to know this doesnt have to be the case all the time.

I guess wish me luck for getting with girls more often.

I can relate to @Steveter20 because when I was shipped off to Iraq, and then came back a year later, my first intimate act with my wife was sure a “quick one” if you know what I mean :-> … but after that, I was able to control myself.  I think I was just so relieved to be back home and getting back into my intimacy with my wife, I got a little too excited a little too quickly.  Steveter20, don’t fret though, if your experiencing PE, I would just make an appointment and go see a doc at Boston Medical Group because I have heard great things from friends who have had similar situations.
...PS GOOD LUCK with the ladies!

johncrow111 makes a great point regarding PE. Certain situations or circumstances in our lives can have a profound effect on our sexual performance, particularly with PE. Many men find that PE can become a cycle, or “self fulfilling prophecy” as Steveter20 put it. The good news is that we have been able to provide many men with a solution to this cycle that, at times, can seem impossible to break. A Boston Medical Group doctor can design a personalized treatment plan for you, based on your needs & expectations and the factors that are contributing to your specific condition. All you have to do is make that first step and give us a call…we’ll guide you from there!
