Could my ED just be “all in my head”?

I’m sure this is a common thing, but it seems like I only have problems in bed sometimes…and I have been trying to figure out what the common factor in my outstanding performance vs. being a “no show” is. By thinking about it more, I feel like it is getting worse, just simply because I am thinking too much.

If it really is a psychological issue, can I just deal with this through some therapy, or do I need to actually take a pill to consistently perform when I want?

Erectile dysfunction can be either situational or physical or maybe a combination of both. For our ED patients, our doctor will offer you a treatment that helps you achieve and maintain an erection with confidence every time.  In addition, with time, the blood flow will improve, the penile elasticity will improve and the general erectile reflex and overall, your erectile function will improve. Our goal is to get you off medication as soon as possible.

Thanks for the quick reply, Dave.

I get what you are saying in terms of using medications to help me consistently perform, which will ultimately help me deal with anything that might be going on inside my noggin.

I’m going to do a bit more research about erectile dysfunction treatments and will probably give you guys a call next week to schedule an appointment.

Anyone else out there have problems with uninspiring thoughts creeping into your head during sex?

I have been experiencing a little bit of ED in the past few weeks.  Nothing that I know of has changed that might explain this. Is it normal to have such a thing happen periodically or is this something I should be concerned about?

James, unfortunately, I sometimes have the same issue. I have worked with my psychologist to try to fix this unpleasant occurrence that happens from time to time.  My time with him has helped a little bit, but I am beginning more and more to think I should give Boston Medical Group a shot at helping where my psychologist has not.  I am pretty busy for the next month, but I think I will go in soon, and when I do, I will come back and let you know how it went…
